Also served in public sector positions as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Better Housing Association and Director of a number of companies including ICIC – The Israeli Credit Insurance Company, Industrial Development Bank, Automation Corporation at the Local Government Administration, and others. A members of the Israeli writers Association following publication of his book “Survival”. Tokarsky, an avid Zionist activist, spent a year in a military internment camp in the former Soviet Union following his refusal to publicly oppose the Six Day War. Immigrated to Israel in 1967, following two years of Soviet refusal to allow him to leave.
